Joyful Wishing Star in Yellows

These hand-cut, 7-pointed stained glass stars continue with the series of stars I've been creating for over 15 years, each one unique, each one crafted as a quiet offering to the wishful heart.

Inspired by night skies, childhood wishes, and the softened geometry of ancient places, they are cut by hand and soldered using the traditional copperfoil method.  This star is made with 2 different yellow glasses,   bright and joyful.  The glass catches and scatters light throughout the day, casting colored reflections like little spells.
